N.B. These advanced settings are included in the Pro price plan. If you would like to use them but not all are available, please contact support@ticketpass.org and we'll upgrade you from Essential to Pro.
Advanced settings let you tailor your event to your exact needs. Below is a brief overview of each one and where applicable, links to a more detailed article for the specific setting.
Ticket description
This is where you provide details specific to the ticket type. For example, you might include eligibility if it's a student/concession ticket, or that the ticket includes a meal, or any other important information.
Booking limits
Here you can determine whether a minimum or maximum number of tickets can be purchased by a user. You may want to create a family ticket and therefore set it to be a minimum of 4 tickets. Or, if tickets are in low supply, you might set it to a maximum of 1 per person.
Discount codes
This is where you apply a discount code to a ticket. This can be in the form of a percentage or a fixed quantity, and you can find out more here.
Questionnaire
This is where you can add a questionnaire that is prompted upon purchase (or upon assigning if manual assign is turned on) to collect more information about the person buying the ticket. For example, you might want them to list any dietary requirements, or their company, or choose from a list of options from a dropdown menu etc. You can learn more about them here.
Ticket sales start/end
Here you can determine the sales window of a ticket type by deciding when it goes on sale and when it comes off. This is particularly useful for early bird tickets, for example.
Child ticket
This ticket requires accompaniment from a parent or legal guardian and will be flagged as a Child when scanned. Bear in mind that it won't prevent anyone from booking it - it's purely flagged on the door when scanned that it's a child ticket.
Age restriction
This settings sets a minimum age requirement to purchase this ticket. It's worth noting that a user can change their age in their account settings at any time, so this requires diligence on the door too. The options are +6, +8, +11, +16, +18, +21.
Password protected
This ensures a password is required to book this ticket. You set the password that needs to be entered during checkout, and you can also decide whether the ticket type is hidden until the password is entered.
Attach files
This prompts the ticket buyer to upload a JPEG or PNG once purchased.
Seatmap category
This is for an event with a seatmap attached. Please contact support@ticketpass.org if this is something your event needs.
Included in membership
This is for an organiser with memberships set up. Please visit this page for more information on memberships or contact support@ticketpass.org for assistance.
